This women's quartet (retiring as of December 2004) really rips the chords open on their debut CD. Among the highlights are a David Wright arrangement of "Ain't Misbehavin'," Earl Moon's "Who's Sorry Now?," and Jay Giallombardo's "Oh, You Beautiful Doll." The album concludes with three live tracks where they really show their stuff, on "Don't Call Me Sweetie," "The Party's Over," and a raucous "Peel Me A Grape" that makes you wonder WHAT they're doing to make the audience roar with laughter!
