Chris and Carole Beatty are vocal coaches to major Christian musicians. The CD begins with an introduction - talking through good posture, breathing, and peddling their complete line of vocal products and services. Each of the "daily exercises" is about 2 minutes long with some keyboard and synthesized orchestral accompaniment. These are useful "vocal calisthenics" for improving your vocal strength. They go through a range of repetitions up and down ascending then descending scales on a variety of nonsense syllables ("mum mum," "bee ah mee may mah moh moo"). First Chris sings the pattern once, then you sing from there; sometimes he tells you to change syllables as you progress.
