Rhythmix What a Ride! (CD)

Affiliated with the Rich-Tone chorus, this quartet won multiple Sweet Adelines International regional contests and competed on the international stage. They open the disc with a very challenging chart by Greg Volk of "This Is Some Lucky Day" with jazzy interludes, followed by a bass feature on "In The Wee Small Hours" - what a lush voice Janice Purpura has! Other highlights include the ringing chords of gorgeous "If You Love Me, Really Love Me" and an impassioned "Why Did I Choose You" - just lovely! They finish with a very amusing "High Heel Blues" - decidedly not barbershop but tons of fun!(33:25 2003)
