This historic recording, the first by this now legendary British sextet, was originally released in 1971. Four of the 13 songs are a cappella: "Cherry Ripe," gorgeous "The Oak and the Ash," bouncy "Blowaway the Morning Dew" and "The Green Leaves of Summer." The rest are accompanied by The Gordon Langford Trio - KS fans will recognize Langford as a longtime arranger for the group. Those include "Summertime," Bacharach's "Wives and Lovers," and "Scarborough Fair" (with the arrangement attributed to Simon and Garfunkel). This is how it all began! (34:28 1971)
