The 10 songs in this collection are some of the king'singers' favorites,encompassing 15 years of great singing! There are two songs from theiralbum "Kid's Stuff" ("This Old Man," "Lavender's Blue"), highlighting theversatility and playfulness of the group (complete with sound effects in"This Old Man"). "The Gift to Be Simple" is anything but, with itssyncopated rhythms and time changes. Challenges abound in the Victorianparlour songs "Charm Me Asleep," "Phyllis Is My Only Joy" and "The LongDay Closes."
