What would you give for an hour's music lesson with the King's Singers? This video comes close, as the fab six describe many of the philosophies, as well as musical specifics, of what makes them some of the finest musicians in the world. There's a bit of history, a bit of backstage "you are there," and quite a bit of personal observations by each of the members. What is really useful, however, is being able to peer in on a master class they're giving a 65-voice college choir. Each of the King's Singers provides hints to the choir on improving their performance on a handful of songs. They demonstrate the hints themselves, and then you hear the choir improve. Finally you see the finished product with the King's Singers on stage, artfully performing "Il Est Bel Et Bon," "Simple Gifts" and several other pieces. The video does a remarkable job of tracing
