A hallmark of a great ensemble is that they make difficult arrangements sound easy - and that's what you'll find from this young, energetic quartet. Their opener, "I Wanna Be Around," has an easy swing, but don't try this at home! They've got a subtle swing in "I'm Beginning To See The Light" that makes all the difference, and they nail the jazzy dissonances in "Hello Young Lovers" - yeah, that's what it's supposed to sound like, but it's hard to make it sound easy. This CD is easy to listen to, but is definitely not Easy Listening. Definitely a quartet to watch in the future, and listen to right now! (29:24 2005)
