A must-have for choral music lovers! Robert Shaw is legendary for his ability to draw great performances from great singers - and this recording is no exception. It opens with "Totus Tuus'" a gorgeously simple a cappella motet by Polish composer Henryk Gorecki written for an open air mass by Pope John Paul II in 1987. The central work is Frank Martin's Mass, written in the 1920's for double chorus a cappella. (72:14 1995)
