This CD re-release of recordings from 1958 and 1961 includes 16 Stephen Foster songs, such as "Ring De Banjo," gorgeous "Beautiful Dreamer," classic "My Old Kentucky Home," "Oh Susanna" and "Old Folks At Home." Also included are four spirituals such as "Steal Away." About half of the selections are sung a cappella. The rest are lightly accompanied. (59:17 1993)
