This collection of contemporary Swedish vocal works, based on poetry from Ezra Pound, ee cummings, Dante Aligheri and music by Ingvar Lidholm and Lars Johan Werleis definitely "different." Though there are some beautiful, melodic moments, if you aren't into free rhythms, atonal harmonies and surprising dissonances, then you probably won't enjoy this album. If that kind of thing doesn't bother you, then you can revel in and enjoy the skills of the Swedish Radio Choir and the Stockholm Chamber Choir, under the direction of Swedish choral legend Eric Ericsson. The liner notes, by Bo Wallner are very helpful in giving an insight into the music and poetry of the pieces. (51:38 1987)
