Over the years this chorus has given some marvelous concert performances. This 1991 compilation brings together some of the most memorable moments from over a decade of singing (1974-1985). Included are "Three American Hymns" arranged by Robert Shaw's partner Alice Parker, Grieg's "God's Son Has Made Me Free," two movements from F. Melius Christiansen's "Celestial Spring" and two Gretchaninof pieces, "Our Father" and "Nunc Dimittis." The sound quality is remarkably good considering the range of performances from which the 12 songs are taken. (43:08 1991)
