This CD celebrates the 75th Anniversary of the Christmas Festival at St. Olaf College. Performing groups include the St. Olaf Choir, the Chapel Choir and Viking Chorus, the St. Olaf Cantorei, the Manitou Singers, the St. Olaf College Orchestra, and the St. Olaf Handbell Ensemble. There is lots of beautiful music to be heard here. Particularly charming is a medley of Scandinavian and European pieces starting with "Today There is Ringing". It is readily apparent why this festival has thrived for 75 years when you here the quality of the choirs and the selection of music. There are a few a cappella tracks, but most are accompanied
