Through creative programming, the Sacred voice presents sacred, a cappella choral music concerts to inspire listeners and raise funding and awareness for those in need. From 2002-2004, the Sacred Voice presented more than 20 benefit concerts in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area, raising more than $20,000 for those in need.
This CD is a tribute to their sponsors for helping us attain their Mission, including pieces from performances spanning the years 2002, 2003 & 2004. The eight-member ensemble has a sweet, lyrical quality to it, performing a mix of spirituals, classical "standards," contemporary choral pieces, and world music.
