The first CD released by the Amabile Chamber Choir, this disc features sacred songs (like Lauridsen's "O Magnum Mysterium"), songs of peace ("Dona Nobis Pacem"), folk songs from the world over ("Le Temps de Vivre," "El Hambo," "Song of the Breton Fishermen"), five renditions of Bob Chilcott's "Dona Nobis Pacem" (five!?!?) and a set of gospel pieces featuring renowned jazz singer, Denise Pelley. It's even got Billy Joel's "And So it Goes" as arranged by Bob Chilcott. Classics, all! Seven of the 24 tracks are accompanied, but this is definitely a vocal celebration CD. (73:40 2002)
