Many laurels have been bestowed upon this choir based in Vancouver, BritishColumbia. This recording includes pieces from the group's touring repertoire,eight of which are from Canada (mostly folk songs). We especially likedthe harmonically lush, rhythmic "Ave Maria" by David MacIntyre,Anonymous 4-inspired "Flos Regalis," and fun folk song "TheLog Driver's Waltz." About half of the 15 pieces are accompanied. Thiswell-performed recording is one of the few available to those customerswho have asked us for more women's choir albums. (52:08)
