Cambridge Singers, The: Feel the Spirit
Be the first to review this product
A seemingly unusual combination of themes comes together on this Cambridge Singers and the BBC Concert Orchestra album. With seven spirituals arrangements by John Rutter and settings of Shakespeare's "Songs and Sonnets" by George Shearing, it's delightful. The "firsts" also include the premiere recording of Rutter's "Birthday Madrigals," celebrating Shearing's 75th birthday. This'll be hard to resist! (74:55 2001)
