This 2002 release by Cantabile has a little bit of everything - classical (Weelkes' "Hark, all ye lovely Saints above," "Byrd's "Agnus Dei," Passereau's "Il est bel et bon"), jazz (Gershwin's "Summertime," Gene Puerling's arrangement of "My Romance") and pop (an ingenious medley featuring 10-20 second snippets of no fewer than 18 Beatles songs, "Goodnight Sweetheart, Goodnight") and contemporary classical (Paul McCartney's "A Good-Night" from his Garland for Linda). Their sound is clean, polished and surprisingly full for just four men. Some of the humor is hard to "get" from just the audio, but judging from the audience's response, their show is very entertaining! (44:16 2002)
