This eclectic album captures the diversity of this "junior Chanticleer" that grew out of the St. Olaf Choir. Pieces range from Chant to Tallis ("If Ye Love Me") to Gustafsson's "Missa a cappella" and Biebl's popular "Ave Maria." On the secular side there's "Turtle Dove," "Shenandoah" and their own arrangement of "Danny Boy." As a first effort it shows promise. (53:13 1997)

"I find it amazing that no one has reviewed this. I had to pull my car over to the side of the road when I first heard this CD...I wanted nothing to distract from the quality. The voices blend so well...it is "stop your heart" awe-inspiring to listen to. Don't hesitate...get it now!! JBD"
