This Spanish piece is from the New York Pro Musica Choral Series. The music dates from the sixteenth century. The SATB voicing also includes a baritone or bass solo and percussion ad lib with tambourine or handclapping. The lyrics appear in English and Spanish. The notes include the following information: "The work is best performed by individual voices, voices and instruments or a chorus of small to moderate size...The series' purpose is to make available good music of earlier times in editions that are both practical for the modern performer and faithful to the original." Performance is estimated to require four minutes.
