This piece, written in 1989, is one of four comprising "Arise & Be Free: A Suite for Chanukah," is for mixed choir with divisi (piano reduction included for rehearsal only). "S'vivon" is Hebrew for the Yiddish word, "draydle." A Hebrew Transliteration Pronunciation Guide is also included. The song is traditional and is to be sung with a "light rock feel."
