A 35-member choir, this group has a very full sound! This is a collectionof the choir's favorite hymns, folk songs and spirituals. Twelve of 16songs are a cappella, the others with beautiful piano accompaniment. Thesinging is top-notch, the moods ranging from serene ("Bright Canaan") toplayful ("The Girl I Left Behind Me"). There's also some gorgeoussectional work on "Loch Lomond." If you're looking for a collection ofsome of the best-loved folk songs, sung by a great choir, this is it! (39:30)
