A 35-member choir, this group has a very full sound! This is a collection of the choir's favorite hymns, folk songs and spirituals. Twelve of 16 songs are a cappella, the others with beautiful piano accompaniment. The singing is top-notch, the moods ranging from serene ("Bright Canaan") to playful ("The Girl I Left Behind Me"). There's also some gorgeous sectional work on "Loch Lomond." If you're looking for a collection of some of the best-loved folk songs, sung by a great choir, this is it! (39:30)
