This classical Dutch mixed fivesome sings music from around North America and Europe, including Scotland's "Loch Lomand," Germany's "Herzlieblich Lieb,durch Scheiden" and the Israeli traditional "Hora." The U.S. is represented by "At the Foot of Yonder Mountain" and Canada by "She's Like the Swallow," from Newfoundland. What sets this apart are the big name arrangers - Vaughn Williams, Eastern European songs by Kodaly pupil Matyas Sieber, and simple German arrangements by Max Reger. Lovely. (65:19 1991)
