From the program notes: The language of Dwa Serduszka combines the dialect of mid-Poland with old-fashioned poetic diction; there's been no attempt to replicate this in the English translation. Hap, which is translated as "grab," is onomatopoeic rather than a "real" word, and turns up in children's skipping songs as a command to jump, or move briskly." Pronunciation guide, Polish text and translation included.
