Subtitled Katalinka, this Kodaly piece is based on a rather macabre children's folksong. The lyrics are quite scary, actually:
"Ladybird, O fly now
Up into the sky now,
Hark to the drumming
Now the Turks are coming;
Hurry, hurry will you
Or they'll catch and kill you,
Pickle you in brine,
Tie you up with twine..." and so on. Your elementary school might get into it, though, in a "gory fairy tale" kind of way. Try it out and see!
