"This is an improvisational vocal jazz piece. Part one vamps (repeats) while soloists from the chorus step forward to improvise scat solos or vocal grooves. When each soloist is finished, the conductor signals the chorus to sing the entire section 2 or section 3 or both - returning them to section 1. The piece always ends with the third section."
