This Chicago-based doo-wop quintet has a distinctive sound, with a raspylead reminiscent of Jerry Lawson of the Persuasions. Their primarily a cappellarecording is more varied than the typical doo-wop album. While they performold favorites well ("Oh, How Happy," "Zoom," "Islandsof Love"), they also include patter song "Small Change,"originals "Rendezvous on Euclid Ave" and "Five Plays fora Quarter."
