This is Off the Beat's 14th original recording, released during the fall of 2004. The album features songs arranged and performed by Off the Beat in the '03-'04 school year, and "Going Under" is included on the 2005 Best Of Collegiate A Cappella (BOCA) CD. This album has been honored with many prestigious awards including the 2005 Contemporary A Cappella Recording Award for Best Mixed Collegiate Album in the nation. Ethan Fixell's arrangement of "Paranoid Android" won the 2005 Contemporary A Cappella Recording Award for Best Mixed Collegiate Arrangement, and "Chop Suey!" won the 2005 Contemporary A Cappella Recording Award for Best Mixed Collegiate Song. To add to this array of credits, Morgan McOwen was named runner-up Best Mixed Collegiate Soloist in the country for her performance on "Going Under" for the 2005 Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards as well. This ground-breaking album exemplifies the unique sound and style that distinguishes Off the Beat from its a cappella counterparts.
