This is Off the Beat's 13th original recording released during the fall of 2003. The album features songs arranged and performed by Off the Beat in the '02-'03 school year. This album was nominated for the 2004 Contemporary A Cappella Recording Award for Best Mixed Collegiate Album in the nation. In addition, Maria Bashian was nominated for the 2004 A Cappella Recording Award for Best Mixed Collegiate Soloist in the nation for her performance of "Heart-Shaped Box." In keeping with the Off the Beat tradition, this album demonstrates Off the Beat's mastery of alternative, rock, and pop genres of music with one of a kind covers of both popular and lesser-known songs.
