An alto solo is the feature of this piece by Ravel. Just bass and alto sing the first 8 bars creating a nice contrast with the lush accompaniment that follows the middle section with a be-bop line for bass and baritone is also a highlight. It's a short piece that flows with a dreamy quality. SSATBB a cappella.
