One of the most enduring of barbershop quartets, Happiness Emporium recorded this sequel to their first gospel recording in their 32nd year as a quartet. Tenor Bob Dowma also served as arranger for five of the tracks, including opener "Gonna Build A Mountain," amusing "The First Baseball Game" (the Bible as baseball metaphor!) and "An Old Convention Song" which applies barbershop's thematic wistfulness for yesterday to Christian music. The CD closes with a collaborative effort between Four Voices, Great Northern Union Chorus and Happiness Emporium, "This Train/Saints Medley" - very cool! (32:01 2004)
