This collection by one of the all-time greats of the doo-wop genre has to be the quintessential doo-wop collection. The album features all the members of Johnny Maestro & the Brooklyn Bridge - as they are today. The names read like a who's who in doo-wop: Johnny Maestro on lead vocals, Fred Ferrara on vocals and trumpet, Les Cauchi on vocals, James Rosica on bass guitar and vocals, Lou Agiesta on drums, Martin D'Amico on keyboards, vocals and trumpet, Ed Lisciando (who also produced the album with Johnny Maestro) on guitar and vocals, and James Sarle on lead guitar.

The tunes are classics - from the opening "Sixteen Candles" to "Lonely Teardrops" and "Sincerely" - songs you remember from back in the day that have stood the test of time. Maestro and his crew definitely haven't lost their touch on this collection that includes nine a cappella numbers out of 25. Their voices are strong, the instrumental accompaniment is solid - this is one great package!
