Fans of this accomplished threesome may be familiar with many of the carols on this 20 track CD, as it is a collection of the group's favorite carols from their previously recorded, The Season of Holly and Ivy and Bygone Christmas. The carols from earlier recordings have been re-recorded and rearranged and there are three new tracks, Masters in This Hall, Somerset Wassail, All Bells in Paradise. The liner notes include a concise explanation of the history of carols, hymns and wassails and their differences, as well as brief information about each selection. It's a pleasure to hear anything sung by the Artisans with their wonderfully blended voices and richness of tone. Make sure your Christmas "comes in" with Artisan. Song List:
