This re-issue of one of Artisan's first CDs is consists of songs based on poetry by Dorothy Una Ratcliffe. Re-mastered by Artisan member Brian Bedford, this recording gives us an opportunity to hear Artisan in their early days, as well as exposure to a treasure trove of prose by a most remarkable woman. The liner notes give a wonderful description of the poet and her life, compiled by relatives and acquaintances, complete with vintage photographs. This truly is a labor of love for all involved.
