Initially begun to sing the music of Jan Harmon, the Quasimodal Chorus is a Rockport, ME-based choir. Just under half this album is choral a cappella (nine of 19 songs). They range from lullabies ("Oak Tree") and an ode to the turning of the year ("Carolers") to the setting-to-music of translated-Gaelic poems ("Good Wish"). If you like folk and choral music, you'll enjoy the Quasimodal Chorus. (1995 63:04)
