A welcome addition to the zany, Elizabethanesque madrigals already available (The Queen to Me A Royal Pain Doth Give, and My Bonnie Lass She Smelleth). This is a five-part madrigal for mixed choirs. The composer is PDQ Bach, and it is "lovingly edited" by cheeky Professor Peter Schickele. All of Schickele's arrangements are meant to be performed with a healthy dose of tongue-in-cheek humor, and this one's no different. The arranger's notes at the beginning are a hoot unto themselves!
