Contrary to the implications of the title, this is not set to the tune of "Good King Wenceslas," nor does it have such lofty subject matter. The opening lyrics are:
"Good King Kong looked out on his feet
and he saw that they were large..."
The rest of the song tells of Good King Kong's experiences on a snowy winter night when he sees ol' St. Nick's sleigh and tries to flag him down with vocal "bells." A very humorous and entertaining holiday piece for your program. Also available in SSAA and SATB voicings.
