This collection of performances by six streetcorner groups from Phillie (and New York) was compiled by Ronnie I., whose UGHA has been keeping the sound alive for some 30 years. These are current, active groups recorded in New Jersey (but hey, that's cool). The tunes are mostly from the mid to late '50s, and a few from the early 1960's. The performers are: Cornerstone, Steel Belted Radials, 5/3 Woodland, Hearts of Stone, Classic Harmony and Street Corner Five. (56Z:12 2004)
