This DVD version of their 1998 London performance is the first officially released performance footage of Ladysmith Black Mambazo in their extensive history! In interviews with leader Joseph Shabalala throughout the program, he gives insight into the group, their name and their mission. The special edition DVD also includes bonus footage of Ladysmith in Los Angeles. Their performance, mixing traditional African songs with some contemporary pieces in English, is impeccable, and the addition of a live audience only enhances the excitement present in watching them share their gift.
