Wow! This group is a great jazz group that happens to sing a cappella. With cuts like "Searching For You," the title song, "Out There," "The Sky Is Crying" and "Gone By" they define the cutting edge of a cappella jazz. Then they turn around and warmly deliver a thoughtful pop original like "Whisper When I Speak" - great! With four writers/arrangers the group oozes talent, which is showcased in the mostly original material on this recording. This second recording is a major step forward from their strong debut. In fact, it's as defining an album for vocal jazz as Singers Unlimited "A cappela" and Take 6's debut album... it's that good. Let's hope they keep growing, experimenting, and pushing the edge!
