Composer's Note:
The enchanting third song in Douglas Cook's A sequence of carols uses another famous and lovely text. The composer adds: The whole piece should have a sense of awe and an innocent sound. Absolutely no vibrato! The first six bars of the first soprano part may be sung by a soloist.
The other carols in the sequence are: A boy was born, The Virgin's cradle hymn and In excelsis gloria (all published by Canasg). Total duration c 5' 00. (SSA)
This is a professionally-notated piece of sheet music, laser-printed on high-quality paper, printed both sides and stapled once in the upper left corner.
