From pop and jazz standards to classical and choral masterworks, these high school singers definitely make the grade! Varsity Vocals (a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting a cappella singing in schools around the world) produces this compilation every year, accepting submissions from around the world from high school choral ensembles. This year's crop of selections just shows how far a cappella singing has come and what a great job choral directors (and students themselves) are doing at the high school level. Outstanding arrangements, good studio production work, energy to spare - it's all here! With this kind of feeder system, college a cappella groups have an outstanding batch of prospects to choose from should these students decide to continue singing in their post-graduate lives.
