You can see the dance licks of 3 Men & a Melody (a quartet among the top ten internationally) on the cover of their latest CD, and you hear their great vocal licks on the CD itself! Eight of the 12 songs were arranged by member Chris Droegemueller, whose style is well grounded in Barbershop, but who takes the songs to the edge with creative, unexpected ideas. 3M&M are among those groups who can perform a wide variety of music in a an unforced way. They have the "rocky" (What I like About You) to the well-loved traditional Barbershop, with their own little fillips (Wink And A Smile); from the truly moving and spiritual (I Can Only Imagine) to a "Crazy Rhythm," that's jazzy, yes, but with a sophisticated restraint that surprises. Listening to this CD will push you over the edge to becoming a real fan of these guys!
