This compilation brings together some of the best Afterglow selections by some of the best men's barbershop quartets. The line-up includes seven international champion quartets and five of the top 10 runners-up at the 2000 SPEBSQSA competition.
The song selection leans heavily towards jazzy arrangements befitting a Speakeasy ambiance, but concludes with some bass solo arrangements and some "other" music. It's clear listening to these talented singers that the best of barbershoppers are capable of singing just about any style of music to which they apply their considerable skills.
