Okay, so not being of the Hebrew faith, it's hard for me to talk about the content of the songs on this album, other than the sound - which is AWESOME. Think Back Street Boys meet the House Jacks (look no further than "Kol Mekadesh" for those HJ influences), Hasidic style. The production is slick; all songs are originals by group members, using, among other texts, traditional Hebrew prayers and parts of the worship service. Lyrics are printed on the liner notes - most songs are in Hebrew (the exception being the hard-edged statement piece "Home" - written from the point of view of an Israeli bus driver amidst the strife in that part of the word today). All are a cappella. The harmonies and presentation are totally modern, though - it all works very well together. If you're looking for some really cool Jewish a cappella to share with your friends, this is it.

"I used to HATE a cappella, but with these guys, I usually forget they have no instruments- they're incredible!! Good music too, fun to sing or dance along to! Thumbs up!"
