The Persuasions are the masters of the a cappella world and have been for many, many years. It seems only fitting that they would give credit where credit is due and do an album of Gospel, a musical form with its beginnings in a cappella. More importantly, they perform it with characteristic Persuasions style. There are some great songs here including "Cain Blood," the bass-led "Walk In Jerusalem," " the rhythmic "Tired And My Soul." With a soulful solo from Joe Russell, "Thank You For One More Day" certainly makes the notable list. This is a fantastic album. (39:42 2000)
