From the liner notes:
The Y-City Chorus is part of the Zanesville, Ohio Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society (formerly SPEBSQSA), the world's largest all male singing society. The Chapter also includes quartets and non-singing members. It was chartered in 1979.
Today, the local organization consists of 70 men, including 60 members who sing in the chorus. They range in age from 14 to 84. In addition to its annual spring show, the chorus performs throughout the year for private organizations, at civic functions and community events, and in area schools and churches.
