From some quite obscure and other more well-known corners of the world, Australian women's quartet Blindman's Holiday seems able to find delightful nuggets for their followers. "About Time" includes all this and a bit of modern, first-world-country angst as well. The group's obvious love of percussion, though rarely vocal, informs all their music. The variety of the sound, styles and spirits on this album is astonishing, as are the womens' voices. Of "The Choice is Yours (Coffee Song)," the author says, "The only real certainty you may have is knowing that you know which coffee to choose!" But here's another certainty: this disc will not disappoint! (48:02 2006)
