From the liner notes: Naked Voices, the University of California at Santa Barbara's first pop/rock a cappella ensemble, was founded in 2001 in the eccentric town of Isla Vista. Since its conception, Naked Voices has attracted UCSB's most passionate, sexy, and brilliantly talented vocalists. Performing constantly and consistently on campus, in the community, and throughout California, the Nakeds love creatively flirting with their music and their fans.
In 2002, Naked Voices competed in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella and earned second place overall at the Western Region quarterfinals...After Naked Voices released "the Nude Album" in 2004, "Winter" was featured on BOCA: Best of College A Cappella 2004 and "Earth Song" was chosen for Voices Only 2005.
Hightlights: Opening track "Hysteria" ROCKS; "Proud" has a wonderful, gospel-choir sound; the solo on "Bring Me to Life" is one of the clearest and strongest that we've heard on a college cover yet; the VP is kickin' on a very admirable cover of Timberlake's "Like I Love You"; "Let Go" is just gorgeous. and "Love Shack" makes you want to get nekked with 'em all and dance (go, vocal cowbell)!

"A cacophony of harmonious persiflage! Monster kinetic syncopation will leave your feet tapping akimbo. Timing is everything and these guys got it right. Tightly driven fat rifts chase the boundaries of human generated sound. Get it, or get over yourself! "
