Chapter 6: A Cappella 101 (CD)
Past ICCA International Champs Chapter 6 (who went pro after winning the title) released this CD while they were still in college. The talent that won them the ICCA title a year later is apparent on everything from the opening "Wake Me Up" to the award-winning arrangement of "Istanbul (Not Constantinople)." They show their college a cappella roots with their cover of Rockapella's Folger's commercial, which appeared at many an ICCA show that same year. This is a lovely example of fresh, non-multi-tracked, contemporary men's a cappella. A nice first effort! (33:38)
